An Indoor Pickleball Facility Is Coming to Potomac Mills

This will be the first Ace Pickleball Club facility in Virginia.

By Michele Kettner November 19, 2025 at 2:27 pm

The pickleball movement continues to grow in Northern Virginia. Soon, pickleballers in Prince William County will be able to play the game year-round at the Ace Pickleball Club at Potomac Mills mall.

The indoor pickleball facility will be taking over the 32,600-square-foot space that previously housed American Freight, a discount furniture retailer that closed its Woodbridge location last year.

An opening date has yet to be announced, but the approved plans for the space will include 12 pickleball courts — 10 full-size courts and two dinking courts — an event space, a changing area, and a stretching area.

Members of Ace Pickleball Club will be able to take advantage of unlimited open play, court reservations, access to special events and tournaments, entry to the APC Member Championship Series, and unlimited paddle demos. Membership packages aren’t yet available for the Woodbridge location. But interested players can opt in for sign-up notifications for limited first-month-free memberships.

NoVA has seen a spike in indoor pickleball facilities as the sport’s popularity continues to skyrocket. Other recently opened facilities across the region include Leesburg’s Village Pickle, Annandale’s Down the Line Sports, and Dill Dinkers Pickleball in Manassas and Chantilly. 2700 Potomac Mills Cir., Ste. 707, Woodbridge
