With classes that are a fusion of ballet, yoga, and specific Pilates moves, this studio will have you toned up in no time. Certified instructors teach group classes plus on-demand workouts in a variety of intensity levels. Each class features musically driven choreography for a motivating session that strengthens the entire body. Reston

In addition to its 10-plus miles of hiking trails, Riverbend Park, located along the Potomac River, features a visitor center with a snack bar, a gift shop, picnic areas, fishing, and boat rentals. Plus, a naturalist is available to answer questions during open hours. Great Falls

This Centreville gym offers group strength training, semi-private classes, CrossFit fundamentals, and youth strength and conditioning sessions for ages 7 to 14. Vitality also offers Hyrox races, which are a mix of running and functional exercises. Participants run 1 kilometer, followed by one functional workout station, repeated eight times. Centreville

Kickboxing Studio

If you’re looking to build strength, learn self-defense, and get your sweat on in a high-intensity workout, this is the place for you. The challenging classes are designed to push your limits; they include boxing, kickboxing, sparring, Muay Thai, and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Arlington

Outdoor Fitness Class 

WINNER: Inergy Kelly’s Bootcamp

This outdoor boot camp helps you burn calories and build strength and endurance. It incorporates a mix of cardio conditioning and toning using weights and resistance, with new drills and exercises in varying intensities each week. Other outside workouts include a run/walk club that consists of four minutes of running or walking and three minutes of strength exercises, repeated for six rounds. South Riding
