An international grocery store, New Grand Mart, is opening a new outpost in Manassas, in place of the former Amazon Fresh in Sudley Manor Square.
New Grand Mart will lease the 44,800-square foot space at 7807 Sudley Rd., The Washington Business Journal reported. The Amazon Fresh store that had been in that space closed in March 2025.
New Grand Mart is expected to open in January. It’s a grocery chain that opened its first store in Falls Church in 2013. Its other existing Virginia locations are in Alexandria, North Chesterfield, and Henrico, and it has Maryland locations in Langley Park and New Carrolton.
According to its website, it offers “a variety of fresh produce, fish, meats, and ethnic specialty items that is hard for other markets to match.”
The shopping center will also soon get a Panera Bread and a Dave’s Hot Chicken, which are currently under construction in a new building. They’re set to open late next year, WBJ reported.
