Travelers driving through Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, are likely to spot the Cartoon Network Hotel — but not for much longer. The animation-themed property is being remodeled into the Dutch Wonderland Inn.
Based on the nearby theme park, the Dutch Wonderland Inn will officially open in late March 2026. The opening will coincide with the amusement park reopened for the season.
“When our team sat down to make plans for the Dutch Wonderland Inn, we focused on how we could bring the magic of our park to life while also providing overnight accommodations for our guests,” said Megan Hartman, general manager of Dutch Wonderland. “The newly renovated Inn brings pieces of our beloved park, Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and the characters our visitors know and love together to create a unique experience for families looking to extend their visit to the Lancaster region.”

New Theme and Amenities
The new theme of the hotel will feature characters like Duke the Dragon and Princess Brooke. The property will have updated rooms, a themed dining experience, and an expanded arcade. Other amenities include an outdoor pool with a water slide, a splash pad, and an indoor pool that’s open year-round.

Dutch Wonderland Inn is located next door to the amusement park. And that means guests won’t have to wait in traffic before starting their park day.
The hotel features 159 rooms, including four suites. Room rates start at $119 for Dutch Wonderland season passholders and $149 for all other guests. Stay and play packages, which include overnight accommodations and up to three single-day tickets, start at $229 per night.
The Cartoon Network Hotel first opened in early 2020. The hotel is filled with favorite cartoon characters from The Powerpuff Girls, Ben10, Adventure Time, and other network classics. According to Lancaster Online, the hotel will close in January 2026 to undergo renovations.
