Chick’s Picks, the annual holiday pop-up shopping destination, debuts on November 24. The popular sale is being held at a new, larger location this year.
Chick’s Picks will be in the Chantilly Crossing Shopping Center in the old Office Depot storefront. The larger space allows the shop to host more than 80 vendors this year — twice the number of last year’s sale.
Exhibitors will include some of founder and owner Hillary Tattersall’s favorite area boutique shops. They include Leesburg’s Global Local, Waterford’s The Corner Store, Bethany’s Water Lili, Frederick’s Raw Blossom, Middleburg’s Loudoun Market, and Occoquan’s Hitchcock Papers, Leaf & Petal, and Urban Posh.
Themes and Trends
With thousands of goods on offer, Chick’s Picks is organized by themes. This year’s categories are spa, collegiate, food market, equestrian, jewelry, pet, and barware. New offerings include pickleball and Mahjong-themed gifts, pet accessories and treats, and vintage home décor, clothing, and accessories.

Tattersall says other gifting trends for this year include “maximalism, with bag charms, patches, and multi-bead necklaces; the ‘Grandmillenial Aesthetic,’ including DIY kits, cooking, and quilt products; western/country/cowgirl; upcycled creations; and Handmade in the USA, tariff-friendly items.”
You’ll also find plenty of options for host and hostess gifts. And, Tattersall says, “Chick’s Picks will have the best food market this year, with restaurant Urbano chef Tom’s homemade seasoned salt, special creamed honey, barware garnishes, sourdough starter kits, candy, gluten-free granola, and the most beautifully decorated cookies.”

Vendor Experiences and Charity Partnership
Chick’s Picks will also feature on-site interactive vendor experiences this year. These include an embroidery machine creating custom dog ornaments, Hatpin’s Hat designing and branding station, permanent jewelry from Ransom, and glitter hair strand installation from the Hair Fairy.
Tattersall works with a charitable cause each year. This year the shop will be collecting previously loved accessories — such as jewelry, sunglasses, scarves, and purses — to donate to the Tree of Life’s consignment shop, The Clothing Closet, in Purcellville and Leesburg. The Clothing Closet focuses on providing free or affordable clothing to individuals and families in need.
Chicks Picks will be open November 24 and 25, and November 28 through December 14. Hours are Sunday to Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
