Fairfax Corner to Host Month-Long Holiday Market Pop-Up

Creative Collective’s Holiday Pop Up will bring together more than 30 local makers and artists for the holiday season.

There’s a new holiday market coming to Fairfax Corner. This year, the shopping center will host Creative Collective’s annual Holiday Pop Up.

The month-long holiday market runs from Friday, November 21, to Wednesday, December 24. Throughout the holiday shopping season, guests will be able to explore goods from more than 30 small businesses across the region.

While vendors have yet to be announced, shoppers can expect to find local artists, designers, makers, authors, photographers, and curators spread throughout the space. Pop in to find the perfect holiday gifts, from jewelry and clothing to handmade pottery and children’s books by local, award-winning authors.

A handful of businesses in attendance will also offer customization on certain purchases, like embossing leather goods or signing books and artwork.

In addition to handmade goods and gifts, some of the businesses at the holiday pop-up will host specialty workshops like soap making and cookie decorating.

This will be Creative Collective’s first time at Fairfax Corner after stints at Tysons Corner Center and Fair Oaks Mall. Owners Aurelou Cole and Wendy Whittleton have been organizing pop-up shops across Northern Virginia since 2018.

The market, located across from Apple, will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store will be offering extended hours, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., on Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and the two weekends leading up to Christmas. On Christmas Eve, the market will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. 4213 Fairfax Corner Ave. E., Fairfax
