Just because the temps are dropping doesn’t mean you need to take your winery and restaurant reservations inside. You can still enjoy the beautiful views while staying warm with the heated igloos, tents, and gondolas at these winter lounges around the region.

Stone Tower Winery

The ski gondola tasting experience is back! Feel like you’re at a mountain resort when you step inside this replica gondola. Reservations for two include a flight of three wines and housemade ciabatta. 19925 Hogback Mountain Rd., Leesburg, $47 per person

Lark Brewing Co.

Your whole friend group can enjoy a private evening in this fully loaded igloo. Not only will you find seating for up to eight, but the igloos also come with a fireplace, festive lights, and a personal TV. For those really in the holiday spirit, book the Grinch igloo, which is completely decked out with green lights and Grinch décor. 24205 James Monroe Hwy., Aldie, $106–$186

La Vie

Enjoy a view of the entire city when you reserve one of these penthouse igloos. With four igloos to choose from — Winter Wonderland, Enchanted Wonderland, Front Portico, and Side Portico — guests can order from the mezze-style menu as they take in the beautiful winter views of The Wharf. Each igloo accommodates up to four guests. 88 District Sq. SW, Washington, DC, $49–$99 for rental, $79–$95 per person food and beverage minimum

The igloos are available to book from December 3 through Valentine’s Day weekend. 480 King St., Alexandria, $50–$100 for rental, $150–$200 food and beverage minimum

Potomac Point Winery

Continue your winter winery visits with Potomac Point Winery’s heated wine tents.
