Social Media Internships at Northern Virginia Magazine
Interning at the Magazine
Northern Virginia Magazine is a monthly regional magazine that reaches thousands of residents from Arlington and Alexandria to Loudoun County and beyond through our print and digital platforms. As a lifestyle publication, we regularly cover all things NoVA across a wide span of categories, including what to eat, what to do, and where to go, as well as news feature stories and profiles of the fascinating personalities in our region.
This internship offers the opportunity to gain extensive experience in the publishing industry.
The social media intern will work with the Social Media Manager to compose social media posts, capture photos and video at events for publication on the magazine’s social media platforms, monitor social media sites, and pitch ideas for social media. The ability to work flexible hours to attend events is a plus.
