There’s nothing sweeter than supporting a local business. And now you can satisfy your sweet tooth at the same time at the new River-Sea Chocolates location. The local candy-maker<\/a> has opened a second store at 11495 Sunset Hills Rd. in Reston.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reston shop is not quite as large as the original Chantilly location<\/a>, but it houses the brand’s expanded chocolate factory. Customers can look through a window to see the more than 2,000-square-foot factory busy at work producing the company’s chocolate bars, candies, and truffles.<\/p>\n\n\n

River-Sea prides itself on its sustainable practices<\/a> and high-quality ingredients. The owners source the cacao overseas and then process it entirely on site, offering “bean-to-bar” products, including vegan options. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Reston store <\/a>also sells coffee and River-Sea merchandise including T-shirts, sweatpants, hoodies, and stuffed sloth toys. The store is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
