Pickleball aficionados now have a designated spot in Loudoun County to play the game they love without worrying about the weather outdoors. Village Pickle<\/a> opened its doors to the public on May 16, becoming the county’s first designated indoor pickleball facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Located at the Village at Leesburg, the 24,000-square-foot space includes eight state-of-the-art indoor courts for both members and drop-in play for the public. A perimeter fence surrounds each court and features a Pickleball United True Court System and Championship Pickleball Net System. Higher ceilings allow for uninterrupted play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Limited memberships are available<\/a> to ensure court availability for members and the general public. Memberships are $125 per month and include free court rentals and unlimited drop-in play at no additional cost when reserved within six days of your intended date. Members also get early access to register for lessons, clinics, round-robin tournaments, and leagues. Members can book their court up to 14 days in advance, while non-members can only reserve courts three days in advance. Court rentals for non-members are $30 per visitor per hour for singles and $15 per visitor per hour for doubles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Off the court, gourmet food and beverage options are provided by a partnership with The Dell Food & Brew Hall. QR codes provided in the lounge allow players to order at the eatery, located down the street. The food will then be delivered to the court.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to member and drop-in play, the indoor facility will soon offer a variety of clinics. Players can strengthen their skills with private and semi-private lessons, round-robin games, and tournaments. Lessons start at $85 per hour for individuals, $105 per hour for two people, and $115 per hour for three people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Village Pickle is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Court reservations can be made online through CourtReserve<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
