Dr. David Matney is an experienced and caring general dentist who always puts his patients\u2019 health and comfort first. With a professional approach, he creates a relaxed atmosphere while providing great dental care for kids and adults alike.
He earned a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989 and went on to graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University\u2019s school of Dentistry in 1994. After that, he completed a residency and fellowship in general dentistry at the University of Connecticut.
Dr. Matney is passionate about staying up to date and has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education. He also worked overseas as a dentist for Emirates Airline, treating patients from many diverse backgrounds, which helped him connect with people from all walks of life.
In 2018, he took over one of Arlington\u2019s most well-known dental practices, now called Ballston Dental Care, continuing its 50+ year tradition of friendly, community-focused dentistry.
He especially enjoys helping patients with Invisalign\u00ae and veneers to create beautiful, confident smiles.
