Living in Northern Virginia comes with a laundry list of perks, chief among them being the outstanding breweries and wineries within driving distance. But what’s a crisp pint without live music and entertainment? Luckily, many venues in the region feature live music and stellar beer, so it’s always easy to pair the perfect pint. To catch a scenic drive and some live tunes this winter, give one of these local spots a try.

Situated next to the rolling hills of Manassas National Battlefield Park, The Winery at Bull Run offers more than its fair share of delicious wine, views, and music to justify a day trip. Live music is available on Friday evenings and Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Commit to the experience by planning your trip around a wine tasting, and enjoy some tasty bites from the food trucks that pull up each weekend. 15950 Lee Hwy., Centreville

2 Silos Brewing Co.

The music, beer, and lively atmosphere are what keep fans returning to 2 Silos Brewing Co. During the warmer months, live music is featured at the adjacent outdoor Farm Brew Live stage. But in winter, live performances are moved to the Pour House at 2 Silos. Beer offerings at 2 Silos are extensive and seasonal, so be sure to check out a tap list online before making the journey. 9925 Discovery Blvd., Manassas

This Falls Church hideaway is known for its eclectic spirit and well-rounded selection. The space features authentic Tex-Mex cuisine, light bar-fare bites, and live music events. For example, you can drop in from 7 to 10:30 p.m. on February 8 to be serenaded by Honey Funk. While this event has no cover charge, registering online is recommended. 2822 Fallfax Dr., Falls Church

Bear Chase Brewing Company

Live music is available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a complete list of performers and time slots available on the brewery’s events calendar. Give the award-winning Kodiak Kolsch a taste, and if you can’t get enough, Bear Chase offers lodging options for the perfect country holiday. 33665 Bear Chase Ln., Bluemont

Don’t let winter disappear without visiting this Leesburg brewery. Good music and great beer go hand-in-hand at Vanish, with live entertainment featured every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Beyond the mouthwatering selection of IPAs, farmhouse ales, and lagers available for purchase, Vanish also produces an impressive selection of non-alcoholic and mocktail options. 42245 Black Hops Ln., Leesburg
