New Dining and Shopping Options Coming to Dulles Airport

Ellie Bird, Honor Brewing, and Good Company Doughnuts are among the options coming to Concourse 3.

Make sure you pack your appetite when you head to Dulles International Airport next fall. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority announced 11 places to eat at the new Concourse E, along with retail and entertainment options.

The spots, which include an outpost of the acclaimed Falls Church restaurant Ellie Bird, will be part of the 435,000-square-foot concourse currently under construction for United Airlines flights. It’s expected to open in the fall of 2026.

New Restaurants

  • Ellie Bird: This Modern American restaurant by Carey and Yuan Tang (who also own Rooster + Owl in DC) has been on our Best Restaurants list for two years.
  • Good Company Doughnuts & Cafe: Get housemade treats from this spot, which was a 2025 Best of NoVA winner for Best Doughnut Shop.
  • Bonchon: This restaurant is known for is Korean fried chicken.
  • Aventino: With its main location in Bethesda, this airport outpost of the Italian-American full-service restaurant will have a central bar.
  • Honor Brewing: Another Best of NoVA winner, Honor Brewing is a veteran-owned brewery and full-service restaurant that will open in Dulles.
  • Rusty Taco: The fast-casual restaurant brand specializes in street-style tacos.
  • Food Court: The other food options will reside in a food court, including Wendy’s, Jimmy John’s, Dunkin’, Dos Toros Taqueria, and Stratus Bar.

New Retail

Retail and entertainment options coming to Concourse E include two Duty Free retail spaces; Travel Tech for your last-minute needs like headphones and chargers; and Gameway, a video gaming lounge offering stations with leather chairs, noise-canceling headphones, charging ports, luggage storage, and Wi-Fi.
