A Japanese-inspired arcade will open at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City mall in a couple of months, ARL Now reports. Gatcha features arcade games and claw machines. It also sells Japanese toys, anime figurines, giant plushies, and other merchandise.
Gatcha will be located in a current vacant space across from Panda Express on the Metro level.
Guests can “capture popular plush at the Clawcade, play a favorite game at the Arcade, and visit the Gatcha Shop for the purchase of large plush, anime figures and tons of blind boxes,” a company representative told ARL Now. The arcade will also include several “dispensing machines that give a small token or collectible in a capsule.”

The chain’s U.S. flagship location is in Flushing, New York. It opened its first store in Orlando in 2021, and also operates arcades in Saugus, Massachusetts, and Edison, New Jersey.
