Here’s What’s New and Coming Soon to Reston Town Center and RTC Next

Check out the latest retail stores and restaurants popping up in the shopping center.

By Melanie Jensen October 31, 2025 at 12:20 pm

Reston Town Center is growing. The decades-old development center known for its walkable shopping and dining options has recently added new shops and eateries to the mix, and more are on the way.

Several restaurants have recently opened their doors to serve sushi, Indian cuisine, burgers, and more, and retailers selling jewelry and eyewear have also snatched up storefronts. With several open and unclaimed retail spaces scattered across the shopping center and a multi-phase plan to expand the center south across Bluemont Way, even more dining and shopping is yet to come.

The expansion, nicknamed RTC Next, includes the construction and leasing of several new businesses. That includes some already opened office buildings, The AC Hotel, and Skymark Apartments. Restaurants and retailers have already begun leasing locations at the new shopping center, with several locations projected to open in 2026.
