The team behind Yume Sushi will soon open a new concept inside the Rosslyn food hall Upside on Moore. Neko Pachi, led by Yume founders Saran “Peter” Kannasute and Cici Yang, will have a grand opening in the food hall on November 17.
Neko Panchi allows guests to customize their meals with a selection of make-your-own hand rolls, sushi sandwiches, and bao buns. The menu also features classic and signature sushi rolls and “street bites” like chicken yakitori and takoyaki with tonkatsu. In a news release, Yang called this food a “blend of Peter’s love for sushi and his Thai background.”

Kannasute and Yang are a husband-and-wife duo from Thailand and China. Together, they run Yume Sushi (which ranks No. 4 on our 50 Best Restaurants of 2025 list) in Arlington and Kyojin and Rimtang in Georgetown. According to a news release, the couple is excited to join Upside on Moore and called it “a very fun concept.”
Upside on Moore is already home to concepts such as Ghostburger, Stellina Pizzeria, and Little Tiger Dumplings. It’s located at 1700 N. Moore St., Arlington.
Neko Pachi will be open Monday to Saturday, with a $13 lunch special available 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays.
